Yellow - Poetry & Prophecy | Purple - The End of This Age | Future Prophecy |
The first study, Red, covers Old Testament History. This section contains many famous Bible stories like Noah's ark, Moses and the people of Israel, and the life of King David. Since this is history- as you are reading, you can put together a timeline of events in your mind. You can see how all the people and stories fit together.
The next study is Orange and covers The Law. Here we will take a look at two books that include many of God's laws for His people. This study reads less like a history book, or story and more like a list of God's very important teachings. It includes the Ten Commandments.
The final study in the Old Testament is the Yellow study, which contains Poetry & Prophecy. These books are very different from those in the Red and Orange studies because they use more metaphors and creative language. This section includes songs and poems like the Psalms as well as prophecies.
The first study in the New Testament, Green, covers The Good News- the Gospel. The story of Jesus's life, death and resurrection. It also contains the book of Acts. This is the record of Jesus’s followers after His resurrection.
The second study in the New Testament, Blue, covers Letters for Life. These are letters from the apostles, men whom Jesus taught. They teach Christians more about Jesus and how to live in light of His precious gift.
The final study in the New Testament, Purple, covers The End of this Age- the book of Revelation. Like some of the books in the Yellow section, this book is also prophecy. Revelation uses many vivid metaphors to describe what will happen when Jesus comes again.
